Dragons, knights, princesses, princes, king and queens descended into school on Year 2 Castle Dressing up Day! All classes started their day by having a fun filled costume parade explaining who they were and showing off their incredible outfits. Children learnt about the meaning of a Coat of Arms and created their own, remembering blue colors for truth, green for joy and red for being regal. The children demonstrated huge enthusiasm when creating their finger puppets from felt. We had some truly magnificent creations. Children engaged happily in role play, getting into character and acting out stories.
At playtime Molly in Morpurgo Class said ‘Everyone is playing together in one group!’
Taylor in Ryder Class said ‘It’s been the best day ever!’
Thank you to all the children for making it such a successful day and to the adults at home for all their efforts.
