Our hall looked a little different this morning… in the corner there was a table full of rice, pasta, jam and toothpaste! The children have been learning about where these items are going, what a food bank is and how they help families. During our Harvest Assembly the children recited poetry with rhythm and actions in Ryder Class, sang about the Harvest Moon in Alban Class and told us all about Mr Owl who sits on a branch up high in Morpurgo Class. Sarah Green from Homewood Road Church came and told us about how Christians say thanks to God at Harvest, for the farmers, the sun and the rain. Thank you to the children for learning the words to their songs so well, for the staff for supporting them and to the parents for generously supporting us by sending donations.     Mrs Rimmer – Deputy Head
